Please know that the credit card processing fee is 3.5% per transaction with a $2 minimum. ACH fees are $1.95 per transaction up to $150 and $2.45 per transaction between $150.01 -$2,500 and it goes up from there.

TextMyGov - Alert System
Buell Red Prairie Water District (BRPWD) has implemented TextMyGov, a convenient and smart text messaging service! This service will enable residents to effortlessly receive important notifications by texting BRPWD ALERTS (lower case also acceptable) to 91896.

After sending the initial keyword, you will be asked to reply “YES” to confirm opt-in. There is also an icon of TextMyGov on this website.
Notification of water outages will continue to be posted on our website brpwater.com and on Facebook.

KEEP YOUR WATER METER ACCESSIBLE

Please trim bushes, trees, and grass that block the way or cover the meter. Unlock your gate if your meter is located behind a locked gate, or provide a key to our District office. We must have easy access to the meter, without our staff having to climb a fence or push through bushes. We usually read meters between the 20th and 24th of each month.

Get to Know Us
Buell Red Prairie is a small, rural water district. We were founded as a community water district way back in the 1970s, and we continue to rely on the community to help run the district. Our board and special committee members volunteer their time to provide safe drinking water to rural residential customers.
